From the moment I arrived at Wolf Oak Acres, I knew Natalie and Greg’s wedding day was going to be something special. I’ve photographed many weddings over the years, but this one truly felt intentional, heartfelt, and full of meaning. Wolf Oak Acres is a stunning venue on its own, but when paired with a couple who put so much love and care into every detail, it becomes even more magical.
You could feel the excitement building throughout the day, not just from Natalie and Greg, but from everyone around them. Family and friends gathered to celebrate these two, and the joy was undeniable. Every part of the day felt genuine and deeply personal, which made it such an honor to document.
Being able to witness and capture the connection Natalie and Greg share was incredibly special. Their love showed in the quiet moments, the laughter, and the way they looked at each other throughout the day. It’s weddings like this that remind me why I love what I do.
Getting Ready at Wolf Oak Acres
One of my favorite parts of any wedding day is the getting-ready portion; there’s so much anticipation, emotion, and energy in those moments. Natalie and Greg’s morning was filled with laughter, excitement, and meaningful interactions with the people closest to them.
I love capturing everything from the carefully chosen details to the emotional moments as everything starts to feel real. Natalie looked absolutely stunning as she got into her dress; truly one of those moments that makes you stop and just admire how beautiful the day is unfolding. Greg looked equally sharp and calm, patiently waiting for the moment he’d finally see his bride.
Their first look was filled with so much emotion. As Greg turned around and saw Natalie for the first time, the love and excitement on his face said everything. Just as the moment settled in, the rain began to fall, and without hesitation, they laughed and ran inside together. Greg carefully held Natalie’s dress as they moved, never taking his eyes off her. Even in the middle of the rain, he was completely taken by her. Moments like this: unplanned, emotional, and genuine are some of my absolute favorites to photograph, and this one truly did not disappoint.
A Beautiful Ceremony and Incredible Wedding Party for Natalie & Greg
Natalie and Greg’s ceremony at Wolf Oak Acres was nothing short of beautiful. The setting provided a perfect blend of rustic charm and elegance, creating an atmosphere that felt both intimate and timeless. Every detail, from the decor to the overall setup, came together so seamlessly.
Natalie and Greg’s ceremony was especially meaningful, as it was officiated by Greg’s brother-in-law and Greg’s sister stepping in to help. Having family play such an important role added an extra layer of emotion to an already heartfelt ceremony. Capturing those moments were incredibly moving. There was so much love and emotion in the air that it was impossible not to feel it while photographing.
Their wedding party brought so much fun and energy to the day, making portraits relaxed and enjoyable. Between the laughter, the candid moments, and the genuine connections, everything flowed so naturally. But more than anything, what stood out most was the overwhelming love surrounding Natalie and Greg, from each other and from everyone there to celebrate them.
Throughout the day, Natalie and Greg’s dog stayed close by, quietly part of every moment. From the early hours of getting ready to the celebration that followed, having their pup there added a sense of familiarity and warmth that made the day feel even more personal.
